Job Description:
Salary: $130k - $145k/Yearly Responsibilities: Support Advanced
System Architectures Contribute to the electrical and physical
design of complex computing systems involving GPUs, CPUs, and
memory modules. Focus on high-speed signal interfaces, such as
memory buses and serial IO (e.g., PCIe, Ethernet). Simulation &
Modeling Lead the signal integrity and power integrity simulations
for printed circuit boards (PCBs), packages, and connectors.
Perform detailed transmission line, via, and decoupling analysis.
Design Validation & Debug Drive pre-layout and post-layout
analysis. Support board bring-up, lab validation, and debug
activities to ensure that real-world behavior matches simulations.
Factory Build Support Provide guidance during product ramp-up and
factory builds, solving SI/PI-related issues that arise in
production. Cross-functional Collaboration Interface with PCB
layout engineers, mechanical engineers, manufacturing teams, and
customers. Use feedback from design reviews across manufacturing,
testing, and reliability to enhance future designs. Toolchain
Ownership Own and operate industry-standard SI tools like Sigrity,
Ansys HFSS/SIwave, ADS, and HSPICE. Technical Skills: The tech
stack required for the Signal Integrity Engineer role includes
advanced simulation and modeling tools such as HSPICE, Sigrity,
Keysight ADS, Ansys SIwave, and HFSS for signal and power integrity
analysis. Proficiency in high-speed serial data standards and
protocols is essential, including experience with DDR (e.g.,
DDR4/DDR5), PCIe, Ethernet (10G/40G/100G), and other high-speed
memory and interface technologies. The role also requires strong
knowledge of transmission line theory, via modeling, decoupling
strategies, and experience with PCB and package-level modeling.
Familiarity with scripting or automation tools (such as Python or
MATLAB) for data analysis and simulation workflow optimization is a
plus. Additionally, experience with layout review tools and CAD
environments (like Cadence Allegro or Mentor Graphics) will support
collaboration with PCB design teams. Must have skills: Signal
Integrity Engineer role includes deep expertise in signal and power
integrity fundamentals, Strong proficiency with simulation tools
such as HSPICE, Sigrity, ADS, Ansys SIwave, and HFSS, and hands-on
experience in PCB and package-level modeling. The candidate should
have proven capability in modeling high-density I/O interfaces,
performing transmission line and via analysis, and validating
designs through simulation and lab measurements. Experience in
analyzing and resolving SI/PI issues in complex high-speed board
layouts is critical, along with the ability to provide actionable
feedback to PCB and system design teams. A strong understanding of
high-speed memory and serial interfaces (e.g., DDR, PCIe, Ethernet)
is also essential. Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this
role across the U.S. is: $130k - $145k/Yearly. Final offer amounts,
within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors
including your relevant skills, education and experience and the
benefits package you select. Full-time employees are eligible to
select from different benefits packages. Packages may include
medical, dental, and vision benefits, 10 paid days off, 401(k) plan
participation, commuter benefits and life and disability insurance.
