This VP of Sales / Sales Team Leader role offers the opportunity to
step into a company that has served its communities for more than
70 years and build a modern, high performing outside sales
organization from the ground up. Deeply embedded in the markets it
supports, the organization has built its reputation through
long-standing customer relationships and a strong local
presence—but now needs a leader who can translate that foundation
into a scalable, intentional go-to-market strategy. Reporting
directly to the company’s top decision-maker, this leader will
define and execute a sales strategy that positions the company to
reach its 100-year milestone. VP of Sales / Sales Team Leader – You
Will: Build and execute a comprehensive sales roadmap across luxury
home, multifamily, and repair/remodel markets Architect the
structure of the outside sales organization, including territories,
segmentation, and coverage models Lead, hire, and develop a
high-performing outside sales team aligned to a clear go-to-market
strategy Adopt the “own the customer” mindset building deep,
long-lasting partnerships with clients and key vendors that keep
all stakeholders aligned Define and implement standardized sales
processes, pipeline management, and disciplined execution rhythms
Establish clear KPIs, performance metrics, and activity standards
tied to roadmap milestones and growth objectives Design and
reinforce a proactive, field-driven sales culture focused on new
business development and market expansion Spend time in the field
and across departments to truly ensure the sales strategy aligns
with operational realities and customer experience Build targeted
strategies for new market development and customer segment
expansion Monitor pipeline health, forecasting accuracy, and
revenue performance to ensure consistent execution against the
sales roadmap Partner with executive leadership to align sales
structure, investments, and growth priorities with overall company
objectives VP of Sales / Sales Team Leader – You Have (Required
Skills, Experience & Team Fit): Proven ability to design and
implement a sales roadmap that drives measurable revenue growth A
love of developing optimal, high-performing, field-based sales
teams Innately possess strong human intelligence and a genuine
passion for building relationships, naturally seeking to
understand, motivate, and connect Demonstrated success creating
scalable sales processes, performance metrics, and accountability
systems Ability to think strategically while executing tactically,
translating vision into clear plans and daily activity Confidence
to assess talent, make structural changes, and elevate overall team
performance Experience expanding into new markets with intentional
go-to-market strategy Strong business acumen and curiosity, with
the ability to diagnose gaps and design effective solutions History
of partnering with executive leadership to align sales strategy
with broader business goals Background in performance-driven
industries such as software, automotive, or other consultative
sales environments (building materials experience is not required)

a sense of humor VP of Sales / Sales Team Leader – Benefits for
You: Your compensation for this VP of Sales / Sales Team Leader
role will be in the range of $160,000 to $220,000 base salary, with
flexibility for the right sales executive. Health, dental, vision
insurance, 401k and paid time off offered.
