The position is based in a fast-pace, high volume production facility in Woodland, CA.Pacific Coast Producers or "PCP" is an agricultural cooperative, and a food production company owned by California growers. Our Woodland facility maintains production lines for canning various tomato products for customer delivery and satisfaction. Each PCP facility utilizes complex technology and equipment that require skilled, talented, and motivated personnel to function properly. These positions are part of a seniority based collective bargaining unit and require work on various shifts with potential for a great deal of overtime during the processing season. To be considered for this position, applicants must have demonstrated experience in:Key responsibilities include:-- Ensures operation of control equipment by completing preventative maintenance on the production equipment and other control equipment within the facility-- Conduct load calculations to determine: Wire size, conduit size, transformer size and power supply size-- Basic circuit installations to include: layout conduit, bend conduit, pull wore, land wiring, test and finalize circuit installation-- Conduct electrical system testing utilizing electrical circuit instrumentation: i.e. multi-meter, amp probe, oscilloscope, etc.-- English communication skills-- Understanding of wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, PI&D drawings and control schematics-- Basic hydraulic, and pneumatic knowledge and experience-- Experience leading control system installations and upgrades-- Experience designing and building control and electrical panels-- The ability to create and review control drawings and schematics-- The ability to install, program and troubleshoot VFD's-- Basic familiarity with the NEC and UL Standards-- Basic familiarity with electrical abbreviations and electrical symbols-- Knowledge of PLC, HMI and associate software suites: i.e. Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Automation Direct, etc.-- Computer programming and troubleshooting skills-- Experience programming HMI systems-- Server configuration for control data manipulation: i.e. SQL, Java, HTML-- Certification and/or 3+ years of experience-- Reliable and able to maintain excellent attendance-- Relevant industrial experience-- Committed to safety and food safety, including use of appropriate protective equipment-- Self-motivated and possess strong problem-solving skills-- Have a sound background in solid state circuitry and devices, high voltage D.C. rectifiers and control circuits-- Be familiar with the National Electric CodeCome Work with Us!Join our legacy of talented people working together to provide the highest level of customer service.
