Hiring 2 Quality Assurance Technicians for a great food company in Woodland, CA!Schedule: Needs to be open to all shifts, morning/day/swing/graveyardDescription:Quality Assurance Technician:The successful candidate will become part of the Quality Assurance Team, based in Woodland, CA Technician will be responsible for ensuring product or service meets the established standards of quality including reliability, usability and performance. Raw ingredient receiving inspection and release, Production records review and release, Prepare for customer and regulatory audits. Perform internal food safety audits and manage follow-up & corrective actions. Supervise training of production employees (QA topics). Maintain calibration schedule. Coordinate investigations and document deviations and findings. Provide QA support to other departments. This position has interaction with internal departments, including Customer Service, Production, Sanitation, Maintenance, and Logistics.The successful candidate will have: Analytical Skills, Strategic Thinking, Forward Thinking, Project Management, Presentation Skills, Communications - written and oral, Teamwork, Problem Solving, Interpersonal Skills, Language Skills, Reasoning Ability, Mathematical and Computer Skills, Innovation, and Creativity Working with Production, Sanitation, and Maintenance to complete investigations on the line. Understanding of Food Safety Flexibility with hours and able to rotate.Skills:qa technician, food science, raw materials, Gmp, AuditTop Skills Details:qa technician, food science, raw materials, gmp, qc check, auditAdditional Skills & Qualifications: B.S. in Food Science, Biological Sciences or related degree. Quality Supervisor/ QA Specialist/ QA Professional experience food industry. Experience in Kosher Program, Gluten Free, Organic Non-GMO, BRC, State Certifications, Allergen Program, Environmental Monitoring Program, HACCP Program and Sanitation. Chemical & Micro lab experiences a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Office products, i.e., Excel, Word, Outlook, Access. Knowledge in the areas of SSOP's, GMPs, FDA/USDA regulations, microbiology etc. Ability to maintain HACCP Programs. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Must be able to read, understand, interpret, and follow-through accurately and thoroughly. Strong communication skills: read; write articulate, etc. complex concepts to ensure appropriate interpretation.
