Introduction
NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Deep Learning Research Engineer for our Advanced AI Strategy team. The role involves collaborating with internal teams and strategic partners to define and implement product strategies, focusing on the latest AI research and hardware integration.
Responsibilities

• Engage with cutting-edge research and industry partners to explore hardware and software innovations.
  
• Identify key gaps in AI systems infrastructure, from kernel optimizations to large-scale deployments.
  
• Prototype and develop new features and solutions across multiple facets including data center design and model architectures.
  
• Ensure seamless transition of research concepts into NVIDIA's product stack.
  
• Design solutions considering data center configurations, networking, and deployment scenarios.
  
  Qualifications
  
  
• Deep understanding of Deep Neural Networks, Large Language Models, Multimodal, and Scaling techniques.
  
• 10+ years of experience in Deep Learning systems, infrastructure, and NVIDIA GPU expertise.
  
• Proficiency in C/C++, Python, with strong software design, debugging, and performance analysis skills.
  
• Solid knowledge of CPU/GPU architecture, high-performance computing, and distributed programming.
  
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in dynamic, distributed teams.
  
• Doctoral degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  
• Innovative mindset and ability to think beyond current limitations.
  
  Preferred Skills
  
  
• Experience with large-scale distributed deep learning systems.
  
• Knowledge of CPU and GPU architecture, CUDA programming.
  
  Additional Information
  Competitive salary range: $224,000 - $356,500, based on location and experience. Includes potential equity and benefits.
