resilience. About the Role Peak Energy is seeking a detail-oriented
and proactive Logistics Intern to support domestic and
international logistics operations for energy storage systems (ESS)
and equipment. This role is responsible for logistics coordination,
shipment visibility, and cross-functional support to ensure
on-time, compliant, and cost-effective delivery to customers and
internal sites. This person is a self-starter who is hungry for
knowledge and holds themselves and others to high standards.
Candidates should be available to begin employment in Summer 2026.
Responsibilities Work with freight forwarders, carriers, customs
brokers, and warehouses to ensure smooth shipment execution.
Analyze shipment costs across modes, lanes, and service providers
to identify savings and optimize spend. Coordinate inbound and
outbound movements with 3PL warehouses. Support inventory
receiving, shipment scheduling, and issue resolution. Prepare and
verify shipping documents (commercial invoice, packing list, B/L,
AWB, ISF, 7501, etc.). Assist with customs clearance, tariff
classification (HTS), and duty/tax coordination. Partner with
supply chain, manufacturing, sales, and finance teams to support
order fulfillment. Maintain accurate logistics and compliance
records. Minimum Qualifications Bilingual (English / Mandarin) is
required. Strong attention to detail and execution discipline.
Analytical skills with Excel and Power BI. Experience with VLOOKUP
/ XLOOKUP is a plus. Ability to manage multiple shipments and
priorities simultaneously. Good communication skills and ability to
work cross-functionally. Comfortable working in a fast-paced,
operations-driven environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience
in ESS, battery, automotive, or manufacturing industries.
Familiarity with battery logistics, hazardous materials, or
oversized cargo. Knowledge of ERP or logistics systems (SAP,
Oracle, NetSuite, or TMS). Experience in logistics, transportation,
or supply chain operations. Experience with international shipping
(China–U.S. or global lanes preferred). Familiarity with U.S.
import/export processes and logistics documentation. Experience
working with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and 3PL

pay rate for this role is $30/hr, with actual pay varying based on
