Salary: $310,000 - $420,000 per year A bit about us: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Labor & Employment Litigation Associate to join our top-tier law firm. As a part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on high-profile cases and complex litigation matters in the employment and labor law field. This role requires a deep understanding of wage and hour laws, employment litigation, class action lawsuits, single-plaintiff cases, and employment disputes. You will be responsible for drafting and negotiating separation agreements, PIIA, arbitration agreements, and settlement agreements. This role also involves handling class certification, discovery responses, and motions to compel. Why join us? Represent clients in all aspects of employment litigation, including class action lawsuits, single-plaintiff cases, and employment disputes. 2. Draft, review, and negotiate separation agreements, PIIA, arbitration agreements, and settlement agreements. 3. Conduct thorough and timely discovery responses, and draft and argue motions to compel. 4. Handle class certification matters efficiently and effectively. 5. Collaborate with other attorneys to develop strategies for complex litigation cases. 6. Provide legal advice to clients on a wide range of labor and employment issues. 7. Stay updated with the latest developments in labor and employment law. 8. Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions with clients. Qualifications: 1. Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school. 2. Active member of the California Bar. 3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in labor and employment litigation in a large law firm. Experience in an AmLaw 100 or top law firm is preferred. 4. Proven experience with wage and hour laws, class action lawsuits, single-plaintiff cases, and employment disputes. 5. Extensive experience in drafting and negotiating separation agreements, PIIA, arbitration agreements, and settlement agreements. 6. Proficiency in handling class certification, discovery responses, and motions to compel. 7. Excellent negotiation, research, and communication skills. 8. Ability to handle high-pressure situations and manage multiple cases simultaneously. 9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 10. High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
