Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent
practical experience. 5 years of experience with software
development in one or more programming languages, specifically with
Go and Kubernetes. 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or
launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software
design and architecture for distributed systems. Preferred
qualifications: Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or
related technical field. 5 years of experience with data structures
and algorithms. 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role
driving new products from design to execution. Experience
developing accessible technologies. Experience building or managing
platforms on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and collaborating in
data-motivated decisions in a matrixed organization. About the job

salary range for this full-time position is $174,000-$252,000 bonus
equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level,
and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by
work location and additional factors, including job-related skills,

product or system development code to manage the full life-cycle of
Kubernetes clusters, including creation, upgrades, health
monitoring, and backups using Go. Participate in, or lead design
reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available
technologies for managing fleets of clusters at scale in
disconnected, air-gapped environments. Review code developed by
other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices
(e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability,
and efficiency within distributed systems). Contribute to existing
documentation or educational content and adapt content based on
product/program updates and user feedback. Triage product or system
issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues
and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and
quality.
