The Corporate Data & Analytics (CDA) team is responsible for
transforming data into actionable, goal-driven reporting that fan
the flames of innovation and adaptation for our
cross-organizational stakeholders. To keep up with the pace of our
growing company, we are looking for an outstanding Analytics
Engineer I to join our team. Our Analytics Engineers perform the
critical task of closely partnering with our Data Engineers and
Data Analysts, becoming subject matter experts on the varied data
models and lines of business. This allows the CDA team to provide
tailored reporting solutions at scale, that are accurate and in
context with their stakeholder audiences. As a CDA Analytics
Engineer you can expect to create and automate rich, complex data
sets that allow Analysts and BI consumers to work faster, safer,
and better. Who you are: Deeply curious; interested in how our
business (and our product) works Possess excellent SQL skills with
the ability to learn additional analytic tools Experienced working
with data from enterprise SaaS companies such as Sales, ARR, and
product usage Forecasting, Pipeline planning, and general GTM
business process in the domains of Sales, Services, and Renewals is
a bonus You are a natural communicator. You focus just as much on
how you deliver your findings, as you do on the technical craft of
uncovering new insights. General data enthusiast who enjoys
understanding the data lifecycle from ingest, through
transformation, and into visualization Agile sprint planner and
executor with the ability to properly scope project requirements
and reprioritize as needed Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative
field, such as Computer Science/Engineering, Mathematics,
Statistics, Economics or other related technical discipline 2 years
of hands-on experience with database development, modeling and
governance within a RDBMS environment required. Proficiency in dbt
and Snowflake required Proficient with the data structures and
objects of typical CRM platforms Salesforce experience preferred
Experience with Gainsight, Financial Force PSA, or Marketo is a
plus Ability to effectively QA and troubleshoot data Excellent
attention to detail What you’ll be doing: Own much of the ETL
process in Snowflake and dbt to model complex datasets to be used
in enterprise-wide Tableau reporting, often using new data sources
Collaborate closely with Data Engineering, Data Analysts, Global
Operations, Go-To-Market, and Finance teams to evaluate stakeholder
requirements for upcoming projects and assist with project scope
from a technical perspective Apply software engineering best
practices to analytics code such as version control, testing,
continuous integration Document processes, architecture of
systems/data flows, project plans, using the agile methodology in
Jira and Confluence Advise leaders, analysts, and developers with
the intention of furthering data quality, standards, best practices
and uses Implement tests and alerts that ensure the data pipeline
flows smoothly and prevents any bad data from getting to production

practices. Seismic’s annual base salary range for this position
will vary based on applicant’s location, experience, job level,
skills, and abilities as well as internal equity and alignment
market data. The range listed below is the minimum to the maximum
of our target hiring range. Seismic’s salary range for this
position is: $68,300 USD - $117,900 USD This position is also
eligible to participate in Seismic’s incentive plans in addition to
base salary. The actual incentive amount will very and will be
subject to the terms and conditions set in the applicable incentive
plan.
