Job Description Job Description Our client is looking for an
experienced Leave Advisor to join their team in Brentwood ,
Tennessee. This Contract position offers a dynamic opportunity to
manage leave administration processes while ensuring compliance
with federal and state regulations. The role follows a hybrid
schedule, requiring in-office presence from Monday to Wednesday and
remote work on Thursday and Friday. The position does have a
potential for contract-to-hire for the right person.
Responsibilities: • Oversee the complete leave management cycle,
including continuous and intermittent leaves, from initial
notification to return-to-work coordination. • This is a very
manual process , so the ideal candidate will have hands-on
experience filling out forms. • Administer and ensure compliance
with federal and state leave programs, such as FMLA, ADA, and other
applicable regulations. • Communicate effectively with employees to
provide updates on leave status and clarify their responsibilities.
• Coordinate leave benefits with workers’ compensation and
disability programs to ensure seamless integration. • Work closely
with managers to arrange modified schedules and facilitate smooth
return-to-work transitions. • Ensure accurate timesheet entries and
maintain up-to-date records for all leave-related documentation. •
Support accommodation requests under ADA and collaborate with HR
Business Partners to address employee needs. • Manage additional
time-off programs in line with company policies and legal
requirements. • Assist in drafting and updating leave policies to
align with evolving regulatory standards. • Uphold confidentiality
and secure recordkeeping of sensitive medical documentation. •
Minimum of 3–4 years of experience in leave administration; 4–5
years preferred. • Certification or specialized training in leave
administration or HR compliance is highly desirable. • Proficiency
in managing California leave programs, including CFRA and PFL is
nice but not required. • In-depth knowledge of federal and state
leave laws, including FMLA and ADA. • Experience with the
interactive process and accommodations under ADA. • Strong
organizational and communication skills to manage multiple leave
cases simultaneously. • Ability to maintain confidentiality and
ensure secure handling of sensitive information. • Familiarity with
HR systems and tools for accurate recordkeeping and policy
compliance.
