Pacific Coast ProducersLocation: 1376 Lemen Avenue, Woodland, CA, 95776, United StatesEmployee Type: Full-TimeJob Category: SchedulingIndustry: ManufacturingRequired Degree: HIGH_SCHOOLManage Others: NoPacific Coast Producers, a leading private-label food manufacturer headquartered in Lodi, CA, is seeking a Full-time Human Resource Specialist to join our team at our Tomato Processing Operation located in Woodland, CA.Candidates must be forward thinking, highly motivated, interact professionally and compassionately in a seasonal multicultural environment while working effectively and independently or as part of a team. This position reports directly to the Woodland Plant Human Resources Manager. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Creating and managing the employee schedule during peak and off seasons. Adherence to and administration of Collective Bargaining Agreement in all aspects. Annual registration of seasonal workforce including but not limited to on-boarding, training, and scheduling.Provide back up for payroll, benefits, and leave administration.Assist in all phases of the recruitment & hiring process.Assist with employee inquiries and resolution of issues.Ability to work with various members of management on a variety of projects.Interface, promote, and strengthen HR relations in a professional and confidential manner with other departments, co-workers, and employees.Ability to work flexible hours during peak season (July - October) and when required. Provide support in all areas of HR.All other duties as assigned.Qualified candidates must have the following attributes:Two years of Human Resources or comparable administrative office experience.Demonstrated proficiency with HRIS applications, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email and various types of office equipment. A basic understanding of timekeeping practices, scheduling, and interpretation of collective bargaining agreements.Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced and dynamic environment.Willingness to work independently or collaborate with a team.The ability to handle sensitive and confidential material, to work with integrity, and exercise good judgment. Willingness to promote a professional and safe work environment. Excellent customer service skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills. Willingness to learn, understand, and apply new concepts.Bilingual helpful.
