Role OverviewThe Good Eating Company is looking for a Catering Executive Chef to join our team at one of our high-profile accounts in Palo Alto, California. This is a hands-on culinary role focused on growing our catering department. Our goal is to become the premier workplace hospitality brand in North America. We seek a strong culinary leader committed to teamwork and collaboration to help us achieve our vision.About the Catering OperationOur events range from Continental Breakfasts, Lunches, snack delivery, to 5-course plated meals for the CEO and Executives.We are looking for a Catering Executive Chef with excellent communication and training skills. This high-level, hands-on role supports all operations at the account. The Catering Executive Chef will manage a culinary team of hourly employees, and be responsible for menu creation, client meetings, ordering, and inventory management.What You'll Do

• Ensure all food looks, tastes, and is visually appealing when served
• Demonstrate strong culinary skills across all areas, including main courses, salads, sauces, pastries, and baking
• Possess a broad knowledge of food and various culinary styles, recognizing and reacting to contemporary catering trends
• Use correct food terminology and cooking methods
