Summary: Metal Sales is the nation's largest manufacturer of metal roofing and building systems with twenty-one locations across America. Our Woodland, CA branch has an opening on our Customer Service team for a Customer Service Assistant and we are searching for a data entry/administrative professional that enjoys being a part of a small but dynamic team. This is a permanent full-time position with a comprehensive benefits package. Starting pay ranges from $17.00 to $20.00, depending on experience. Let us tell you about the responsibilities and expectations of this role to ensure we are the right fit for each other. You will be responsible for (but not limited to):

• Accurately key in customer orders quickly and efficiently into proprietary software program
• Research and verifying inventory levels for sales orders
• Update and maintain customer information in the database, making any necessary changes to records as needed
• Maintain and follow up on emails as needed
• Assist with special projects that require large amounts of data entry
• Provide clerical support to the Customer Service Manager as needed
• Work collaboratively within the customer service department and throughout the branchThe most qualified candidates will have:
  • One year experience in a data entry or administrative support role in a customer-centric office setting
  • Phenomenal data entry accuracy and diligence
  • Comfort performing routine tasks
  • Professional communication skills
  • Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams) and other applications
  • Experience working in the construction or manufacturing industry, ideally with residential roofing and/or siding preferred
