Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Physical Therapy Assistant - Discipline: Therapy - Start Date: 03/02/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 38 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract Position Details - Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Specialty: Physical Therapy Assistant - Position Type: Contract - Facility: Mayer Capital Partners (MCP) – North Bay Post Acute - Department / Unit: Rehab Therapy - Location: 300 Douglas Street, Petaluma, CA 94952 - Requisition Status: Active - NEW GRADS: Welcome Assignment Dates - Start Date: 03/02/2026 - End Date: 05/30/2026 - Duration: 13 Weeks Schedule - Shift: 8-Hour Day Shifts - Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM - Weekends: Occasional weekends as needed - Guaranteed Hours: 35 hours/week Charting System - Net Health Job Responsibilities - Provide direct physical therapy interventions as delegated and supervised by a licensed Physical Therapist - Evaluate, plan, and administer treatments to restore or improve patient function and mobility - Ensure all treatments follow the established plan of care - Monitor patient response to interventions and document progress accurately - Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy goals and exercises - Complete all documentation per company policy and state/federal regulations Qualifications / Requirements - Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited PTA program - NPTE-PTA Certification (FSBPT) - Active BLS certification (AHA required) - Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to follow instructions from a licensed Physical Therapist - Empathy, patience, and physical stamina to assist patients with movement and exercises K16 About LanceSoft Established in 2000, LanceSoft is a Certified MBE and Woman-Owned organization.
