Job Description:
MindPath Care Centers, a progressive and dedicated leader within
outpatient mental health services as part of Community Psychiatry,
is searching for a qualified Outpatient Psychiatrist or Psychiatric
Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our dynamic team.
In this role, you will be integral to our mission of providing
personalized, high-quality mental healthcare. You will manage a
diverse patient population, develop treatment plans, and contribute
to our collaborative, multidisciplinary team. At MindPath, we
prioritize building therapeutic relationships and focus on both
therapy and medication management to optimize patient outcomes.
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, including assessing
mental health conditions and determining appropriate treatment
plans. Prescribe, direct, and administer psychotherapeutic
treatments or medications to treat mental, emotional, or behavioral
disorders. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including
psychologists, social workers, and other health professionals to
ensure the most effective patient care. Monitor patients'
medication usage and results, making necessary adjustments. Educate
patients about mental health and treatment options to empower their
wellness journey. Maintain high levels of confidentiality and
adherence to ethical medical practices. Keep detailed and timely
patient records compliant with insurance and legal requirements.
Strong clinical skills in psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and
treatment. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary
team environment. Excellent verbal and written communication
skills. Proficiency with EHR systems and technology used in mental
health settings. Capability in managing a variety of mental health
conditions with diverse patient demographics. Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid state
medical license as a Psychiatrist or Nurse Practitioner. Board
Certified in Psychiatry or Board Certified Psychiatric-Mental
Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). Eligibility to prescribe
controlled substances; current DEA registration.
