Job Description ProKatchers is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor
and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Clearlake, California. Job
Description & Requirements - Specialty: Labor and Delivery -
Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours
per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel
/nEssential Functions: /nMonitor the health of both the mother and
the baby during labor, tracking things like contractions, fetal
heart rate, and vital signs. /nAssistance during labor: support
pain management options (such as epidurals or medications), and
provide emotional support. /nSupport during delivery:Assist the
doctor or midwife during childbirth, preparing tools and
medications and helping the mother with delivery, either vaginally
or via cesarean section. /nPostpartum care:Help with initial care
for both the mother and newborn, including skin-to-skin contact,
initial breastfeeding support, and ensuring the mother is
recovering well from delivery. /nEducation and advocacy:Provide
education to the mother about the birthing process, aftercare, and
newborn care, and advocate for the mother's preferences during the
delivery. /nPerform other job duties as assigned./n/n/n
/n/nRequired Qualifications: /n1-year recent (within the last 3
years) full-time equivalent experience /nGraduate of an accredited
nursing program. /nLicense, Certification, Registration
/nRegistered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided)
