$3000 Hiring Bonus **We currently have 2 Clinical Program Manager opportunities, 1 for Napa County and 1 for Yolo County NAPA COUNTY OFFERS 10% SALARY DIFFERENTIAL JOB SUMMARY The Clinical Program Manager (CPM) manages all aspects of the day-to-day operations of substance abuse prevention and treatment services to ensure regulatory compliance at all levels. The CPM provides consultation and support to the program staff. The professional development of staff is a key component of the CPM position. The CPM interacts with other program and department managers to foster agency integration, contributes to the development and implementation of program outcomes, policies, and procedures, and trains employees to ensure agency and program compliance. Supports the Mission, Vision, and Values of the agency. QUALIFICATIONS Education & Experience Master's Degree in a behavioral health or social science related field LCSW, LMFT or LPCC and current registration with California Board of Behavioral Sciences required Experience providing substance abuse prevention and treatment services to youth (ages 12-20) and their families preferred Skills & Requirements Bilingual preferred Demonstrates ability to effectively manage programs Effective leadership skills Strong supervision skills Strong organizational skills Adhere to all confidentiality requirements Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects and assignments effectively Verbal and written ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, community partners, consumers and all levels of management Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment within program/department and agency wide Ability to work in a mobile, fast paced environment Ability to use a laptop computer Fulfillment of TB test, background check clearance, and any other mandatory State/Federal requirements Valid California driver's license, proof of automobile insurance, can maintain a driving record acceptable to the agency's insurance carrier, if applicable to position Must provide and operate a registered, properly insured automobile, if applicable to position ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Position Specific Manages the day-to-day operations of the program through effective leadership, providing an ongoing assessment of program, reporting to the Director any deficiencies and plans of correction Assists the Director in maximizing the effectiveness of services provided to youth and their families Takes active role in recruitment, hiring, development, evaluation, and termination of staff In coordination with Human Resources, develops a plan for the orientation, development, and ongoing training of staff Reviews and approves documentation prepared by the program staff Provides leadership, direct supervision, training, and support to team members including: regular one-to-one consultation meetings, regular assessment of performance, and routine provision of feedback as it pertains to job performance, professional development, and program and agency job specific expectations Ensures the provision of a wide array of family centered services to consumers with appropriate regard to their well-being Daily review of new referral packets and completes case assignments Takes a lead role in the implementation of identified SUPT models and therapeutic groups for youth and families in the program Reviews complaints generated by clients, their representatives, and/or other providers and develops plans to address each complaint satisfactorily Documents all services provided to youth or on behalf of youth Reviews critical incident reports and ensures follow-up plans are in place to address safety and minimize risk Coordinate psychiatric services with assigned youth and family/caregivers, as needed Ensures documentation is compliant with regulatory and contractual requirements Participates in the 24-hour family support on-call rotation. Participates in Utilization Review, Accreditation, County and State Audits as requested. Responsible for meeting all outcomes as documented in Employee Development Plans Agency Specific Performs all duties in a manner consistent with the principles and values of agency, while adhering to applicable professional codes of ethics, the agency's policies and procedures, contractor requirements, and regulatory requirements. Model and communicate appropriate positive attitudes toward the agency's Mission, Vision, and Values Work collaboratively with all agency programs and staff to provide support as needed Utilize and maintain calendar with all work-related details in order to manage time effectively and share calendar information with coworkers Participate in on-going training to expand and develop professional skills Perform other duties as necessary for the agency, as assigned Employment Type: Full Time Years Experience: 1 - 3 years Salary: $70,000 - $84,000 Annual Bonus/Commission: No
