service. Responsibilities Position Summary: Under minimal
direction, responsible for the overall department operation and
management/development of department employees for two critical
departments; The Patient Financial Accounting Team and the Medical
Group Coordinator staff.Key responsibilities include hiring,
developing, motivating, counseling, and evaluating a competent,
well-trained staff; holding staff accountable for maintaining high
standards of performance; prioritizing assignments and making
staffing adjustments in accordance with budgetary guidelines.
Demonstrates proficient management skills including but not limit
to, problem solving, decision-making, team building and
flexibility.As a member of the management team, is expected to be a
leader in promoting high morale, in exhibiting positive attitude
towards customers/employees and installing a sense of team spirit
throughout the clinic departments. This position serves to provide
the leadership support necessary to advance and ensure the
organization's financial and patient satisfaction goals and
objective are met and exceeded.The incumbent will act as a liaison
between management, staff, physicians, internal/external customers
and patients, promoting teamwork and sponsoring collaboration.
Accountabilities also include maintenance of policies and
procedures and oversight for provider payroll functions. Will also
provide direct support to the Clinic Executive Director and
Director of Clinic Operations and will represent both wherever the
need arises. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: - Minimum of
3-5 years of experience in a healthcare related field required.-
High School diploma required.- Special Skills: Comprehensive
knowledge of industry services and products as well as operations
policies, practice and procedures. Skill in working independently
and following through on assignments with minimal direction. Must
possess excellent organization skills. Must be able to work under
pressure and be a team player. Must have strong communication
skills and be detail oriented. Knowledge of: current administrative
and business office practices, clinic procedures, computer systems
and application Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, &
PowerPoint). Must possess a collaborative spirit and work well in
groups, relating to others in a professiona and courteous manner.
Must display tact and diplomacy when interacting with providers,
staff, patients, internal/external customers. Ability to function
independently and effectively with minimal supervision,
demonstrating initiative, responsibility and good judgment. Ability
to independently manage, organize, deligate and execute workload
efficiently in a timely fashion in a highly stressful enviroment
with multiple demands, changing priorities and frequesnt
interruptions. Must maintin the confidentiality of highly sensitive
business matters and correspondence. Must be able to learn and
become proficient at new computer software programs. Must maintain
a professional appearence. Demonstrated knowledge of credentialing
concepts, standarts and regulations with respenct to medical office
and organization operations in a managed care environment. Ability
to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with
physicians and physician office staff. Experience in a leadership
role, handiling staffing and daily operational issues. Skill in
analyzing information, problems, practices and procedures to
formaulate logical and objective conclusions or recommendations.
Ability to understand and assist in preparing financial documents.
Skill in organizing material and information in a systematic way to
optimize learning and understanding. Strong problem and issue
resuoltion experince. Ability to be involved in multiple projects
at the same time. Preferred Qualifications: - 1-2 years of
