Position Overview:The Lead Mammography Tech is responsible for the daily operation of a defined imaging area. Directs and implements policies, procedures and protocols in defined imaging areas and performs the following functions relating to staff: workflow coordination; staffing & scheduling; participates in evaluations, hiring, discipline and retention of staff; serves as department liaison to other areas in the facility; promotes communication and cooperation within the department and with other areas.Qualifications:MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS: -Education / Licesnure / Certifications:

CA State Licensure (CRT) is required. CA State Mammography certificatoin is required.Fluoroscopy license preferred. -BLS Healthcare Provider required.ARRT Registered Technologist, (RT) in good standing; Or ARDMS; Or NMTCB or MRI specialty certification preferred. -Additional specialty certification within area of expertise preferred. -Experience:
  • At least three years experience in all phases of the defined imaging is required. -Knowledge:
    Must maintain a working knowledge of the latest developments in radiologic procedures and techniques. Must be knowledgeable of technical factors, methodologies, and equipment necessary to obtain quality radiographs including those obtained by portables. -Skills:
