to hear from you. We are seeking an exceptional Finance Director to
join our Sales Finance team and partner closely with leaders across
our global sales organization. Reporting to the VP of GTM Finance,
you will lead the GTM Finance Shared Services team in Prague,
develop financial metrics, and implement scalable operational
processes to support Pure’s growth. This high-visibility role
requires a strong track record in business partnership, analytics,
and the ability to translate data into actionable insights. The
ideal candidate excels in cross-functional collaboration,
influencing decisions, and demonstrating executive maturity. This
leadership position offers an opportunity to shape and drive key
aspects of Pure’s strategy. In this role, you will oversee the
financial strategy and performance of the sales organization,
leveraging analytical expertise and business acumen to optimize
revenue generation, forecasting, and profitability in collaboration
with sales and finance teams. SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE •
Lead the Prague-based GTM Finance Shared Services team, supporting
Sales, Marketing, and Customer Experience teams. • Provide
financial leadership and support to global sales functions (e.g:
Systems Engineering, SDRs, Sales Enablement, Integrated Operations,
along with the Enterprise and Commercial Lines of Business)
including forecasting and optimizing spend drivers. • Drive
financial planning, forecasting, and reporting processes, including
visibility into spend and Expense-to-Bookings (E:B) ratios. •
Prepare and present financial reports (P&L analysis, budget
variance, forecasts) to senior leadership, including the monthly
Sales financial reporting package for the CRO. • Assess new GTM
initiatives, build business cases, and support growth strategies. •
Promote financial empowerment and accountability across sales teams
and evaluate the effectiveness of sales tools investments and event
spend (e.g., Sales Kickoffs and Pure Performance Club). • Oversee
forecasting of sales compensation and incentive spend, ensuring
alignment with business objectives. • Evaluate ROI on GTM
investments, identify inefficiencies, and recommend cost-effective
strategies to maximize revenue. • Assess compensation plan
effectiveness and recommend adjustments to drive revenue growth. •
Deliver financial modeling, analysis, and analytical support for
strategic initiatives, business cases, and new sales incentives. •
Partner with sales and finance leadership to create accurate
forecasts, budgets, and long-term financial plans. • Assist in
prioritizing investments by analyzing headcount and spend decisions
across regions, segments, and countries. • Translate data into
strategic insights and forward-looking narratives that align with
business and market trends. • Establish and refine financial
metrics and reporting to ensure consistency and actionable
insights. • Drive process improvements related to financial
reporting standardization, automation, and systems efficiency. •
Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, WHAT YOU’LL NEED
TO BRING TO THIS ROLE The ideal candidate is a self-starting leader
who thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, driving results
through influence, collaboration, and continuous process
improvement. • 10 years of experience in high-tech industries, with
prior leadership experience. • Strong business acumen, strategic
thinking, and analytical skills. • Excellent written and verbal
communication, with the ability to simplify complex ideas into
impactful messages. • Proven ability to work collaboratively and
effectively in a team setting. • Bachelor’s degree in Finance,
Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred). •
Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Anaplan) and
financial planning tools; experience creating reports and
dashboards is a plus.
