Job Description:

The Company recently implemented Microsoft Dynamics Business Central ("BC"). The accountant will provide support, training, and troubleshooting for the Company's BC users. The accountant will be the Company's expert in functional knowledge of BC.The Accountant's responsibilities include preparing financial information, performing account reconciliations and bank reconciliations, assisting to maintain the general ledger, assisting with preparation of tax returns, assisting with audit preparations, and performing other accounting duties as assigned. Reports to Chief financial officer and the manager of the company. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Prepare purchase orders and payment packages by utilizing cash management services/Microsoft Dynamics Business Central.Prepare sales invoices.Prepare general journal entries.Prepare monthly account reconciliations.Support and perform month-end and year-end close process.Prepare monthly financial information, budgetary information, and supplemental consolidation packages.Assist in the completion of Federal, State and local tax filing requirements.Assist with internal and external audits to ensure compliance.Analyze financial information and assist in summarizing monthly management report.Participate in budget/forecast process. QUALIFICATIONS:Understanding of basic accounting procedures/ U.S. GAAPFamiliarity with financial statementsExperience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close processAccuracy and attention to detailAdvanced Experience in Dynamics 365 Business CentralExperience in cash management servicesAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.Accounting, Finance, or relevant bachelor's degrees
